About Rajashekhar
I'm Rajashekhar, and I have two main interests: writing good software and helping people understand how it works. In my final year of college, I served as a Student Teaching Assistant. I taught programming and computer science to second-year students in five sections across the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence departments. Both department heads later issued signed certificates recognizing my work as satisfactory and commendable. I'm genuinely proud of that record.
Outside of teaching, I build real, working software. I've created a distributed encrypted storage platform with solid automated test coverage, and a multi-agent tool that scans infrastructure code for security flaws. Everything I teach is grounded in my own experiences, as I use these concepts in my projects regularly. This practical knowledge shapes how I explain things.
To me, good teaching is about patience, structure, and genuinely caring whether students understand the material, rather than racing through a syllabus. I've consistently received positive feedback from students, and a few have even asked me to continue teaching after my official time ended. That's the standard I set for myself with every student, whether they're writing their first "hello world" or refining their existing skills.

I don't teach concepts as separate facts; I connect them. Before introducing anything new, I ensure you understand what it builds on, where you currently stand, and what it eventually leads to. This way, learning becomes cumulative instead of scattered, and the material actually sticks.
A normal session begins with assessing exactly where you are: what you know, what you struggle with, and what you still need to learn. This helps us avoid wasting time on what you already understand and ensures we address gaps that could cause issues later. Then we go through the new material with practical examples, relate it to what you already know, and finish by having you explain it to me. If you can clarify it well, I know you’ve genuinely grasped the concept, not just memorized it.
I'm not just a tutor; I'm an engineer who actively develops real software. This includes a peer-to-peer encrypted storage system and an AI-driven tool that checks cloud infrastructure for security issues. That hands-on experience allows me to tie what you're learning to real-world applications instead of remaining purely theoretical.
I work well with absolute beginners, students trying to catch up or get ahead in their courses, and anyone looking to strengthen their skills in Python, C, Data Structures and Algorithms, or Object-Oriented Programming. I've personally taught these subjects to university students in five different sections, receiving positive feedback throughout. Some even asked me to continue teaching after my role officially ended. No matter your starting point, I will adapt to it and build from there.
