About Finn
I am an experienced programming tutor with 9 years of teaching C programming to school and college students. Over the years, I have successfully guided around 200 to 300 students, helping them build strong coding skills and confidence. I enjoy teaching and making programming simple and understandable for everyone.
My teaching philosophy is based on clarity, practice, and real understanding. I believe students learn best when they understand how and why code works, not just by memorizing syntax. I break down complex topics like loops, functions, arrays, and pointers into small, easy steps. I also use practical examples and simple exercises to make learning more engaging.
I focus on building strong logical thinking and problem solving skills. I encourage students to think step by step and write clean, structured code. My sessions are interactive, friendly, and supportive, so students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
One of my key achievements is helping many students improve their academic performance and complete assignments with confidence. I have also supported beginners in starting their coding journey from zero and reaching a good level of understanding.
My goal is to make programming easy, interesting, and useful for every student. I am committed to helping learners succeed in exams, projects, and future careers in technology.

My teaching approach in C programming is clear, practical, and focused on building strong fundamentals step by step. I help students understand how programs actually work, from basic syntax to memory management, pointers, and problem solving. I connect C concepts with real programming situations so students can apply what they learn confidently.
I also extend learning to related areas in Java such as object oriented programming, data structures, basic algorithms, and application logic. This helps students see the connection between low level and high level programming. I explain differences and similarities in a simple way so concepts become easier to grasp.
Communication is a key part of my teaching. I explain ideas in simple language and encourage students to ask questions freely. I listen carefully and adjust my teaching style based on each student’s understanding. Creativity is also important in my sessions. I use examples, small projects, and coding challenges to make learning interesting and engaging.
I respect different learning backgrounds and bring cultural sensitivity into my teaching. Every student feels comfortable and supported during sessions. I maintain accountability by tracking progress, giving regular feedback, and helping students stay consistent.
My goal is to make students confident in coding, logical thinking, and problem solving. I support them in exams, assignments, and building skills for future careers in programming.
