About Henry
My interest in computer programming began when I first discovered how simple lines of code could create useful digital tools. I became fascinated by the idea that logical thinking could be used to build software applications that solve real problems. This curiosity encouraged me to pursue higher education in computer science, where I completed a Master's Degree in Computer Science and studied programming languages, algorithms, and software development methods.
During my 8 years of teaching, I have worked with many students who were beginning their journey in programming. My teaching approach focuses on clear explanations and practical coding practice. I believe students learn best when they experiment with code and gradually understand how programs are structured.
Outside teaching, I enjoy working on small programming projects and exploring new developments in software technology. These interests help me bring current ideas and examples into my lessons. Teaching programming is rewarding because I see students move from confusion about code to confidently creating their own programs.

My computer programming lessons focus on helping students understand how logical instructions allow computers to perform useful tasks. Many beginners believe programming is difficult because they only see complicated code without understanding the structure behind it. In my lessons we begin with the fundamentals of programming such as variables, conditions, loops, and basic syntax. I explain how these simple elements combine to form working programs and guide students through small exercises so they can see the results of their code.
As students gain confidence with these basic ideas, lessons move toward writing structured programs using functions and organized coding techniques. Learners practice solving small problems through coding, such as creating simple calculators or organizing data in programs. I also teach students how to read error messages and debug their programs so they can fix mistakes and improve their code independently.
My goal is to help students become comfortable and confident with programming. Lessons focus on understanding logic rather than memorizing commands. Over time learners develop the ability to design small applications and think like programmers. Programming becomes a valuable skill that supports creativity, innovation, and modern technological understanding.
