About Paul
Hello, I am a Producer / Beats Composer for several rappers in the 93 (next to Paris) region and an Independent Artist / Composer / Interpreter / Sound Engineer of eclectro rap. Trained at Cours Florent Musique with great references in the musical world such as Jean-Alain Roussel ((concealed information) Dume Poutet ((concealed information) / dume-poutet /) or on stage with Yovo M'boueke (Mafia K'1 Fry) My skills mainly revolve around the composition and interpretation of rap songs although I am open to other styles musicals such as EDM, techno, electro, minimalist, lo-fi, and quieter music. Having composed more than 1000 sounds in 5 years, I was able to visit various musical registers but you will quickly learn that there is still a whole iceberg to visit! I use Ableton Live 10 software but my skills allow me to accompany a beginner on Fl Studio or Logic, I only have Ableton and Fl studio on my computer, so you will need to bring your own computer if you want to work with me on Logic. I also have 6 years of rap behind me as well as self-published 2 collections of poems, currently writing a book, so I could give a constructive opinion to the rappers that I accompany on their texts, the impact of their words and their toplines / melodies. I'm currently available on all streaming platforms under the artist name "Quatre" (spotify, deezer, youtube, apple music, tiktok, itunes, everything ...) and can teach you how to do it easily :)

My teaching method is practical and theoretical, however I think we all prefer practice to theory, which is why I adapt easily in both situations. We will start from the first class by getting started with the software if necessary then we will approach through your desires the development of a universe, the establishment of a working method and a structure in a non-judgmental framework. and filled with good will, creating your sound with: The production / The text and the Recording of your work. Know that if you are only interested in the composition aspect we will then work on the creation / structure / mix & Mastering of a sound, I will give you various information that I master and will guide you for those that I master less. My lessons are aimed at beginners, Amateurs. (and semi-pro in working methods to be structured.) Why Me? Having 6 years of experience in interpretation I would understand you and guide you towards a professional and efficient rendering, we will erase bad habits taken and / or unnecessary details in your work NOTHING SHOULD BE LEFT TO HAZARD. In addition, writing since the age of 9 years poems, books, I can guide you in order to add impact to your verses, punchline and more. A normal course after having made our first meeting will look like: 1 - Listening to the projects that you will have made between our two meetings 2 - According to your choice: Creation of a new project or Result of an existing project. 3 - Creation of a new project: Define a starting point (instrumental? Text? Flow already in mind?) Development of the idea and implementation of means to realize this idea. 4: Completion of a project: Perfect the details of the production, recording in my home studio (if necessary) and adding the first effects of Mix and Mastering in order to be prepared for recording in the Professional studio without wasting time nor money. 5: Eat a cookie while talking about our plans for the next class (because after all a little relaxation doesn't hurt!)
