Helped some colleagues on various projects throughout my training, code/concepts review during my professional experiences, very good social skills. I graduated as a computer engineer from EPITA. Python is my go-to language for development and prototyping. I used it many times during my cursus, for diverse tasks : results analysis, data plotting, scripting utilities to facilitate complex processes, full stack website development, smaller projects using various known libraries (web-scrapping, videogame, numpy…).
The goals of the course, according to the level and desires of the student:
- Mastery of the Python syntax (keywords)
- Understanding of the interpreted language notion, and its execution.
- Python-specific concepts (weak typing, operators, conditions, lists, dictionaries, functions, character strings, usual libraries and modules)
- IPython integration, usage of Matplotlib, system interaction (Linux/Windows)
Course methodology: learning by the example, use of course materials, exercises to be completed out of the course and corrected with the student. The subjects of the course and the order of learning will vary from one student to another, depending on the needs and priorities.
