About Ivan

As a tutor and bookkeeper, I bring both a strong academic foundation and a genuine passion for accounting, math, and finance. I am completing my accounting major at George Brown. I am currently working at George Brown Tutoring Learning Centre as an accounting tutor. Financial accounting represent my major interest, however, I also have knowledge in finance, micro/macroeconomics, statistics.

About the lesson

Teaching technique: personalized learning; inquiry-based style of teaching;

Lesson plan:
• Explaining material (and responding to questions that may come up during the theoretical part);
• Discussing material with a student and responding to their questions;
• Solving practical questions from accounting textbooks.

As a tutor, what sets me apart is my personalized approach to teaching, ensuring that each student receives tailored guidance that aligns with their unique learning style and pace. My extensive knowledge in a wide array of subjects is complemented by my ability to simplify complex concepts, making learning accessible and engaging. I am patient, empathetic, and dedicated to fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment. My goal is not just to help students excel academically, but also to inspire a genuine love for learning and intellectual curiosity.

My lessons are for middle and high school and college/university students. Ready to help with introductory financial accounting, intermediate financial accounting, corporate finance and micro/macroeconomics courses.
