Throughout my 7 fantastic years of teaching guitar exclusively to absolute beginners, I've specialized in working with people who have never touched a musical instrument before and feel uncertain or nervous about their musical abilities. My gentle, step-by-step approach has helped countless complete beginners progress from their very first guitar lesson to confidently playing songs they genuinely love and want to share with others. I believe that learning guitar should be an enjoyable, stress-free experience that brings joy rather than frustration, and I've developed teaching methods that make even the most hesitant beginners feel comfortable, supported, and excited about their musical journey. What brings me the greatest satisfaction is witnessing that magical moment when a student who thought they "weren't musical" suddenly realizes they absolutely are and can create beautiful music with their own hands!

I provide the most gentle, encouraging, and systematic guitar instruction designed exclusively for complete beginners who are starting from absolute zero musical experience. We start with the very basics that might seem simple but are actually the foundation of everything: how to properly hold the guitar so it feels comfortable and natural, basic finger positioning that won't strain your hands, and how to make your very first beautiful sounds without any pressure or expectations. I teach simple chord formations one at a time, easy strumming patterns that sound great immediately, and gradually build toward playing recognizable songs that make you feel incredibly proud and accomplished. Every single lesson is broken down into tiny, completely manageable steps with lots of encouragement, celebration of your progress, and patience for your individual learning pace. Whether your goal is to play around a campfire with friends, entertain family members, join a casual music group, or simply enjoy creating music for your own personal satisfaction, I'll help you develop fundamental guitar skills in the most supportive, non-intimidating way imaginable.
