About Wag
With 9 years of teaching experience, I am a guitar tutor for students of all levels, including school, college, and working professionals. My aim is to make learning guitar fun, effective, and rewarding. I believe every student is unique, so I tailor lessons to match their pace, goals, and musical interests.
My teaching focuses on technique, music theory, improvisation, and creative expression. Students can explore classical, rock, jazz, or contemporary music depending on their preferences. I have successfully taught over 200 students, many of whom have performed in concerts, competitions, and recitals, while others have developed music as a hobby.
I use structured exercises, interactive lessons, and practical examples to make learning engaging and productive. I also teach sight-reading, rhythm, and composition to help students become confident, creative, and skilled musicians. My approach is patient, supportive, and motivating.

My teaching methodology for Guitar focuses on building strong basics while keeping learning enjoyable. I use communication, accountability, and integrity to guide my students step by step. I begin by teaching essential skills like posture, tuning, and basic chords, then gradually move to strumming patterns, fingerstyle, and song playing. I make sure each concept is clearly understood before moving forward.
I keep communication open and friendly so students feel comfortable asking questions. I listen carefully and adjust my teaching style based on their needs and goals. This helps students learn with confidence.
I believe accountability is key to progress. I give clear practice instructions and help students build a daily practice habit. I track their progress regularly and guide them on how to improve.
Integrity is very important in my teaching. I give honest feedback and support students with patience. I also include rhythm practice and basic music theory to help students grow as complete musicians.
