About Elizabeth
Hi there, my name is Elizabeth. I am currently a part time Constituency Assistant for the House of Commons, I work for Dr Philippa Whitford MP. I finished my studies at the University of Stirling in December 2019, with a Joint Honours Degree in Politics and Sociology with Merit and a Postgraduate Certificate in Strategic Communication and Public Relations Management.
One thing most people don't know about me is that I am Dyslexic, I really struggled in primary school and was held back for a while. Whilst, my dyselxia still affects me in some ways, it has also made me a very hard worker and it has taught me to have patience and determination when learning new things.
In high school I excelled in English, History and Business, doing very well in my 5th year highers and having enough grades to study at the University of Striling.
In my personal time I like to write, read and do art. I like to be creative and I bring this into my job when solving problems with my team.
I hope that as a Tutor I will be able to teach whilst, using creativity and patience to make it an enjoyable experience.
