About Marielle
I am a graduate student in Comparative Literature. I have obtained a bachelor's degree in Asian Studies and graduated with honors. I have extensive experience as a French tutor with mostly college-level students.
I have also done tutoring for philosophy, history and literature, mostly for writing skills and strategies.
The vast majority of the students I helped have improved over time in all the different skills necessary for French writing and succeeding in a francophone university.

I adapt myself to the needs of the person I am helping. I like to get to know the students and their goals before deciding which methodology is the best for them.
I like to vary activities as much as possible and work on at least 2 skills in one lesson, i.e understanding the structure of an essay and learning the methodology of research.
I am a strong believer that practice makes perfect and hard work always pays off, so I like to give small goals or tasks in between lessons to keep the students on track in their progress.
