About Wyatt
Hey! My name is Wyatt Fisher, and I love music.
I’ve been playing music since the age of 3, and I’ve enjoyed every second of it. Over the years, I explored many different instruments (including drums, vocals, piano, and trumpet), but the first time I played saxophone, I knew I could never stop. I started on Tenor Saxophone and now mainly play Alto, though I am proficient at both.
During my Senior year of High School, I participated in the Herbie Hancock Institute LAUSD All City Honor Jazz Band A, where I had the honor of performing at the Hollywood Bowl.
I am currently a staff member at my alma mater’s marching band, where I lead the “Music Performance” caption. I run many music rehearsals, instructing around 30 musicians at a time across multiple instruments and sections. My focus in the program is helping students build musicality, musicianship, confidence, and strong playing habits while sounding the best they can on their instrument.
I have tutoring experience in both saxophone and other academic subjects, along with experience working with children ages 6–12.

I work with students of many ages and experience levels, whether you or your child are picking up an instrument for the very first time, improving tone and technique, building confidence, or simply wanting to make and enjoy music.
My goal as a tutor is to create lessons that are engaging, personalized, and help my students become the best musicians they can be. Whether that means learning the basics, improving fundamentals, or moving beyond the “honking and squeaking” stage, I want students to leave lessons feeling more confident and excited to play.
Through years of musical and instructional experience, I have developed a strong understanding of what helps students improve, not just technically, but musically. I believe music is something meant to be shared, and I would love the opportunity to help you or your child grow as a musician.
