About Nicolas
I am a college student majoring in Data Science and minoring in Political science. At the high school level, I advanced into a dual enrollment program and will complete my AA degree by the time I am 19. In my personal life, I am a devoted musician and have been playing the violin for over seven years. I also have an intrinsic aptitude for teaching others. My advanced English skills allow me to articulate concepts across various fields with clarity and conciseness. Finally, my relatability as a young tutor allows students to comfortably communicate their academic frustrations.

In my sessions, I always begin by understanding what it is the student is struggling with. Whether it is a test they need to prepare for, a lesson they didn't understand in class, or an essay they have to write, I create a plan with them that meets their learning needs.
As a college student, who has recently completed high school courses, I incorporate methods of studying, such as pneumonic devices, memorization techniques, and general guides based on the subject matter, which I know are effective and successful in the high school classroom setting.
What sets me apart from other tutors is my attention to detail. In my sessions, I ensure that students fully understand concepts, principles, and lessons before moving on.
My tutoring focus is in middle and high school English, History, and Algebra. My specialty is in writing and essay revision. Whether it be English, Science, History, or Research-based, my tutoring techniques for writing composition will be sure to improve any student's paper.
