About Susan
Not only as a student who wants to help other students succeed, but also as someone who aspires to become a teacher, I understand how important a little extra help or an extra set of eyes can be. As an academic person myself, there are plenty of times where asking for help has made a massive difference in my grades. I am incredibly passionate about helping others succeed in both their academics and reading/writing abilities, as it is the foundation for effective communication. Also, I simply love what I do! I am absolutely crazy about literature and writing, and enjoy working on projects. I’m a very collaborative person and excellent listener, and am willing to provide feedback whenever it is wanted or needed. I not only want to help someone else succeed, but I also want to form friendly connections with them!

As a college student, I’m aware of the stresses of university as well as the expectations of professors. I also took AP Literature and AP Language and Composition in High School, passing with high scores. As a tutor, I am patient, flexible, and fun to work with! I am capable of teaching all ages, including reading lessons for younger children. I also am available for proofreading, helping with formatting, and consulting on essays. I am especially well-versed in research papers, creative writing, poetry and critical essays in both MLA and APA format.
