About Lael

Hi! My name is Lael! I am a young college student who LOVES to sing, dance, and all things performance. From as early as I can remember I have been fascinated with the art of entertainment through voice. As I continue my education and pursue a vocal performance certificate I fall more and more in love with the voice and the science behind how it works. I’m a vocal nerd lol. I have performed in multiple musical theater productions, participated in choral ensembles at Carnegie Hall, sang in Operas, and my favorite right now is singing in contemporary concerts with my school’s headliner band. One of my most favorite things about singing is helping others find their voice. I have had multiple students and nothing is more fulfilling than watching someone grow into their own unique sound and gain a personal confidence within themselves. I have always loved singing but it wasn’t until I took a step and started getting coached that I began to notice significant improvement in my voice, technique, and confidence. I want to create opportunities for other ambitious performers to experience this as well.

About the lesson

I have a fun engaging approach to teaching students how to steward their talents. I believe singing is more than just a skill but a gift that can bring joy and purpose to one’s life.
My lessons will consist of learning basic solfège, some sight reading skills, and a general understanding of how the voice works. I strongly believe singing should be fun for each individual and want to help them find their own unique sound. I strive to help my students develop a voice they are comfortable in and proud of.
