About Acacia
I am a college student living at home until mid-January. I have given a few lessons to friends, showing them how to play the flute and read the music with ease. I have worked with children before, mostly volunteering at daycares and after school activities, and I believe it would be fun to teach some upcoming musicians how to get comfortable with the beautiful instrument.

My teaching method is fun and motivated! I believe in positive reinforcement, and I am very patient with children. I have played in bands for middle school, a jazz band, high school, and alongside some famous jazz musicians at concerts. I would love to teach friendly, motivated children in the fifth-seventh grade, but exceptions can be made.
