About Kevin
Hello! I am a student who has recently graduated from Ursinus College with my degrees in both dance and philosophy. I have been teaching for about a little over a year and still have a long way to go with learning how to be the best educator i can possibly be. I started my journey as a street dancer about 8 years ago, and started my ballet/modern/jazz/contemporary training about 6 years ago. Majority of my training throughout my college years has been solely focused around improvisation and how the body of a dancer can evolve

When it comes to improv, i base my teachings around the concept of imagination and body isolations. I have heard countless dancers say that they are unable to improvise in dance, so i want to show dancers that anything is possible when you are able to gain a better understanding of your body, as well as utilize a simple 2-step. When it comes to difficulty level, i like to make sure my lessons are able reach each student individually through use of metaphors, and personification. My goal is to bring out the imagination of my students and teach them to create and conceptualize methods that will help them develop their artistry
