About Ashley
I attend UTRGV as a 4th year Music Education student graduating in Fall 2025. I am also a flute specialist at a local high school & have been for 2 years.

What has been special about educating my students is that they don't feel alone in the learning process. We're in it together, & though most of the time I guide my students through challenges, we are all learning alongside each other. We cultivate a supportive learning environment where growth is a journey, & we share that journey from start to finish.

Teaching Philosophy:
I believe that the joy of playing is most important in music education, so I aim to make lessons a productive yet enjoyable experience for all!
Our Process:
Before anything, we'll have a brief conversation about your background & maybe go through a basic technical skill assessment.
From there I'll construct a personalized lesson plan based on your background & what you'd like to work or improve on. The goal is to have a structured yet flexible approach in order to set and achieve goals that are most important to you.
