About Mixalis
I am an award-winning composer and Master graduate in Composition from Codarts University for the Arts. My work as a composer has been performed in professional contexts, and I have collaborated with ensembles and musicians in both academic and artistic settings. Alongside my creative work, I have experience teaching composition, songwriting, music theory, harmony, and guitar to students of different levels. I approach teaching with clarity, structure, and high professional standards, while adapting to each student’s individual goals and pace. My aim is to help students develop both solid technical skills and a strong personal artistic voice.

I adapt my teaching to each student’s goals, combining structured learning with creative development. My approach focuses on solid foundations in technique, music theory, and ear training, while also encouraging personal expression through composition and songwriting.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, but can be adjusted depending on the student’s needs and goals.
I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Composition from Codarts University for the Arts and am an award-winning composer with experience in performance, ensemble work, and teaching composition, songwriting, guitar and theory.
My lessons are suitable for beginners to advanced students, including children, teenagers, and adults, whether they want to learn guitar, improve theory, or develop compositional and songwriting skills.
