Teaching chess offers a clear path for students to sharpen their minds through deliberate practice. I recall sitting across the board from a pupil during a long tournament match when the lightbulb finally turned on for them regarding positional understanding.
Having taught for 13 years, I assist beginners and competitive players in refining their board vision and defensive technique. My systematic approach is built upon my academic foundation as a BSc Mathematics graduate and CM titleholder.
Developing a solid opening repertoire and mastering blunder checking requires consistent, disciplined study. I work with adults and children who want to see their FIDE rating grow steadily.
