About Shreya

I’m Shreya, a Clinical Psychology postgraduate student at the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Delhi, and a graduate of Banaras Hindu University (BHU). As a GATE-qualified candidate, my academic journey reflects both consistency and a deep commitment to understanding my field.

What truly defines me as a learner—and as a teacher—is curiosity. I don’t believe in surface-level learning; I believe in exploring concepts in depth, visualizing them, and understanding their real-life relevance. This is exactly what I bring into my teaching.

My sessions are designed to be interactive, engaging, and intellectually stimulating. I maintain a friendly yet professional environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, discussing ideas, and thinking critically. Through discussions, real-life examples, visual explanations, and practice, I ensure that concepts become clear, connected, and easy to recall.

Having gone through the pressure of competitive exams myself, I understand the challenges students face—whether it’s managing time, staying consistent, or dealing with stress. I guide my students not only academically, but also in building effective study strategies, confidence, and clarity of thought.

I have also mentored juniors through their preparation, helping them navigate both the academic and psychological aspects of exams. My aim is not just to help students score well, but to help them truly understand, grow, and apply their knowledge beyond the classroom.

About the lesson

As a teacher, my approach focuses on building deep conceptual clarity rather than rote learning. I believe that when students truly understand a concept, it stays with them for life—whether for competitive exams or practical application. My goal is not just academic success, but also the overall development of both hard and soft skills.

Teaching Techniques & Methods:
I use a concept-based, interactive approach, breaking down complex topics into simple, relatable ideas. I incorporate real-life examples, discussions, and active questioning to ensure students engage with the material and think critically.

Class Structure:
A typical class begins with a brief revision, followed by concept explanation, application through examples, and practice questions. I also focus on clearing doubts thoroughly and reinforcing learning through discussion.

Special Features:
My teaching emphasizes understanding over memorization. I help students retain information by making concepts crystal clear. I also work on improving communication skills, including verbal and non-verbal expression, confidence, and public speaking.
