About Darragh

I am a student in my final year of school and I would love to undertake teaching music. I have been playing both violin and piano since the age of 4 and 5 years old. It is a passion of mine. I tour the country every year with an orchestra called the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland, and with them, I had the opportunity to play on one of the biggest music stages in the world, Carnegie Hall. As well as that, I am a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland, as a second desk first violinist. I am privileged to have gotten to where I am now, and I would love to start teaching publicly!

About the lesson

I would like to say I am a good musician and teacher. I have taught my siblings up till grade 8 and had them receive distinctions also. I am very easygoing, friendly, and I am confident that I can help you along your music journey!

I am a family friend of Darragh’s. He taught my son beginner violin to such an amazing standard at an affordable rate. My son is now studying music for the leaving cert and is still receiving lessons! He has his grade 7 coming up and has a track record for distinctions! I highly recommend Darragh’s teaching and he is lighthearted, fun, and more importantly he gets results.
