About Haotian
I love to share my knowledge with my students. Sometimes students will have a better idea of the understanding of the piece than me! It's one of the most amazing parts in music -- everyone has their own understanding. I've tutored three students, and two of them passed level 8, and one just passed level 10. Trust me, I will not make your lesson boring! I believe we can have a wonderful relationship and have an impressive result. Can't wait to talk about piano with you!

The way of teaching is not fixed, and it definitely follows the personalities of the tutees and depends on their skills.
I personally insist that technical skills are the foundation for higher level's playing, but while practicing with technical skills, advanced musical dynamics skills will also be involved.
A typical lesson plan is like:
- determine the repertoire that we will play
- I will give the background information and basic music theory to improve their comprehensions to the pieces.
- The contents in the following classes are based on their performance.
- When these pieces are good enough, we'll choose another one.
Students who are Below Level 10's are welcomed.
