About Martina
I have more than 13 years of experience teaching piano to college students and am passionate about helping them achieve their musical goals. My teaching approach is interactive and student-focused, adapting lessons to each learner’s needs.
I emphasise strong fundamentals including technique, rhythm, sight-reading, and music theory. To make lessons enjoyable, I use innovative methods like improvisation, creative practice strategies, and modern music arrangements.
I also help students build confidence in performance and musical expression. My goal is to make piano learning enjoyable, meaningful, and rewarding for every student.

My piano teaching approach focuses on creativity, personalised learning, and steady progress. I believe piano lessons should be enjoyable, structured, and confidence-building.
Creativity is encouraged through exploring favourite songs, improvisation, and learning different music styles. Students are guided to express themselves and develop a love for music.
As a mentor and critical thinker, I teach rhythm, finger technique, scales, chords, and musical expression in clear, simple steps. Students learn to identify mistakes and improve independently.
Accountability is emphasised through goal setting, consistent practice routines, and regular progress tracking. This builds discipline, focus, and self-confidence.
Along with piano, I teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, keyboard basics, and basic composition to develop well-rounded musical skills.
