About Eileen Dooley
Music existed as my primary language long before I understood the formal grammar of the keyboard. Most people assume that technical proficiency requires decades of stiffness, yet I find that flexibility produces the best sound. My Master of Music from New England Conservatory provides the structural foundation for my teaching.
I offer 13 years of experience in guiding students through the complexities of sight playing and sight transposition. We focus heavily on hand independence and memorization techniques while exploring the nuances of classical repertoire. Integrating music theory and chord voicing remains the most enjoyable part of our collaborative process.

Struggling with uneven dynamics often creates a barrier between the performer and the audience. This issue usually stems from a lack of awareness regarding physical tension during practice sessions.
My approach addresses these mechanics using principles from my degree at New England Conservatory. I combine 8 years of specific pedagogical focus on hand independence and theory to clear these obstacles. We refine your ability to navigate complex passages through targeted sight playing and memorisation techniques.
