About Lacy

Hello! My name is Lacy, and I am a certified teacher based in NYC. I learned piano at an early age and have been playing for over 20 years. I was trained classically with a private teacher and performed in many recitals and competitions. I am very passionate about music, and I love helping others to discover their own talent!

As a certified English teacher with 5 years of teaching experience, I bring my knowledge of teaching into my piano lessons. With a strong background in music theory and performance, I create and deliver effective lessons for beginners of all ages to learn the piano.

About the lesson

I'm very patient, kind and compassionate. I am able to simplify the concepts of piano and music theory in order for all students to understand easily. In my lessons I cover all the basics of piano such as:

-piano technique
-sight-reading
-rhythm and dynamics
-music theory
-how to play your favorite pieces

It's a very rewarding experience for me to help you accomplish your dreams of playing the piano. I'm looking forward to meeting you!
