About Thomas
I'm Thomas and I'm a 23 year old pianist from Italy. I began playing piano when I was 7 and ever since then it became my biggest passion in life. My other passions alongside piano are sports and cooking, two things I enjoy very much! My favourite composer is Rachmaninov, I love romantic music which is also the music I most enjoy playing. To whoever I have ever performed, taught or even spoken about music, I have always transmitted a huge love for piano which has been with me since day one. My musical inspiration is Arthur Rubinstein who I consider one of the greatest and most intelligent pianists ever. I'm fluent in Italian, English and Spanish. I was born in Ivrea, a small Italian town in the north of Italy in which we have a very particular carnival which I always take part in (The Orange Battle). In addition to this I play Beach Volleyball, I snowboard during the winter and I follow football. P.s. If I hadn't been a pianist, I'd have loved to be a racing driver!

My lessons are based on developing a student's technique and his passion for music at the same time. I believe that passion and desire when studying a musical instrument are fundamental and having a professor who works on developing these two aspects as well as focusing on building a solid technique is important. Having said this, the idea is to always help the student reach whatever is the main goal when studying piano; every step of the way is discussed and agreed between student and professor. Building a solid relationship with the student is something I always pursue as it helps so much to have a good connection with whoever is teaching. I'm friendly, kind and very available :)
