About Chad
Hi, my name is Chad Beaulieu! I've been playing guitar since age 8 and went to college as a blues-centric rock guitarist initially for music production, but learned quickly that my true passion was in the art of performance. The year after that I began my major in Classical Guitar for three years under the direction of Dr. Matt Gould, performing nearly every week as a solo guitarist and in small and large ensembles while learning the theory of music as well as pedagogy. The Classical guitar is now my primary instrument, but I also play steel string acoustic and electric as well as bass.

I teach with a student-centric style that puts the learner first and allows them to learn at their own pace because I think learning an instrument should be a fun experience and should encourage curiosity and exploration.
Through me, you will learn the technical aspects of playing, such as finger placement, proper posture and nail care.
You will also learn the fundamentals of how the guitar works, basic theory, how to practice with a mix of modern and classical approaches.
