About Saskia

I am inquisitive, dependable and bubbly. Having completed my A-Levels through the covid pandemic, I am an expert on handling uncertainty and stress. Classics for me is an escapism and hopefully I will be going to Durham University in September to study Archaeology and Ancient Civilisations. I wish to inspire and encourage confidence within this niche subject and I hope you enjoy my lessons!

About the lesson

I am currently at Newcastle University studying Classical Studies. I have achieved an 8 at the GCSE level and achieved an A* at A-Level. I have not had any experience being a tutor but my passion and drive will be more than enough to give anyone an extra boost while doing their studies. Essays were my particular strength, consecutively achieving 30/30 in all my essays throughout Year 13. I achieved an A* in my mock with 80 and 90% in my exams. I have a bubbly personality and extremely passionate about Classics! I am confident in The Odyssey and the Imperial Image topics! I am 20 years old and I will be able to empathise and relate to the stress of exams while teaching you about the ancient world. My true passion in Classics is myth and all things Heracles and Theseus! I will be able to tailor the sessions to your needs for example: making PowerPoints, going through essays, technique on 20/30 markers. My typical length will be between 30 minutes - 1 hour, completely up to you!
