About Sarah
Hello! I’m Sarah. As a person, I’m kind, understanding and patient. As an instructor, I am also attentive and technical, willing to give you or your child the desired tailored experience. One-on-one tutoring allows me and the student to go as quickly or slowly as needed. I’ll go through stretches, conditioning, exercises, barre work, center, turns, and jumps. I offer pointe and pre-pointe classes as well. Any questions you may have, please feel free to ask. I look forward to getting to know you!

I graduated from LACHSA and earned my BFA in dance and choreography at CalArts. I also trained rigorously at schools all over America including Joffrey ballet San Francisco, Joffrey New York, Debbie Allen dance academy, and Anaheim ballet. Teaching dance has become a passion of mine, especially when I have the opportunity of giving my attention to 1 student at a time.
The lesson can be adjusted however you’d like but I follow the traditional classical ballet class structure
This will look like:
-Warm up at the Barre
-Strengthening and conditioning in the form of classical ballet barre exercises
-Stretching, on and off the barre
-Transitioning to center exercises without the barre to focus on movement quality, technique and balance
-Small jumps (petite allegro)
-Waltz across the floor
-Turns (pirouettes, pique turns, etc)
- Big jumps across the floor
- additional stretches
