I've been taking lessons with William for several years. He's always positive and encouraging. I especially appreciate his patience when I haven't had enough time to get fully prepared. I've worked on many classical pieces with him and also rhythm guitar and improvisation. Every lesson has been informative and encouraging. He plans my lessons in advance, but if there's anything I want to work on specifically, he can change the focus to accommodate that too. William is a very accomplished guitarist with a wide breadth of knowledge, so I've been able to get help with a large variety of music and techniques. I highly recommend him! It's also inspiring to go to his local performances!

William is music itself! Being an older student, I am constantly trying different types of guitar music: classical Bach, soft rock, flamenco, etc. William's capability to play all these different genres is quite amazing, but his teaching ability and musicianship is simply superb! I know that any student of his would find a unique "voice" being taught by one of the most talented and kind guitarists I have ever met!

William is a skilled guitarist and teacher. I have enjoyed, and greatly benefited, from his instruction, knowledge of theory, and insights over the last 7 years. I appreciate his patient demeanor even as he pushes me so I continue to grow.
