About Connor
I started my civil engineering career in 2018 as an apprentice studying civil engineering along side full time work. I have had the opportunity to work on many high profile civil engineering projects and develop a varied range of skills.
I am currently studying at Warwick University to complete my Bachelors along side becoming an Incorporated Engineer with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE). I am also currently a EngTech Member of the ICE and have aided multiple colleagues pass their professional assessments (Something I would offer in my lessons if requested).
My current role is a Civil Engineer at Arup

My lessons are aimed at your individual needs and goals. I can cover a range of Civil Engineering and Mathematical topics, suitable for undergraduates and apprentices aiming to improve their knowledge. I offer a free first session (30 minutes) to discuss your goals and decide if I am the tutor for you!
I use my academic and professional experience to help you understand theory and apply learned knowledge into practical problems. I try to have a hands on approach, guiding students through topics and focusing on areas they may be finding troublesome.
Some of the key topics I cover: Steel and Concrete Beam Design, Steel and Concrete Colum Design, Structural Analysis of Beams and Frames, Concrete Slabs (1 way and 2 way), Civil Engineering Mathematics.
