About Hunter
Hello! My name is Hunter and I've been playing guitar for most of my life now! With about 15 years of guitar playing experience, I am currently the worship leader at a small church in central Kentucky. I grew up playing music with my family, most of whom are musicians, and have experience playing as a solo guitarist and vocalist, as well as in various group contexts. I am excited to introduce you to the joy of playing the guitar and be a part of your journey as a musician!

My guitar lessons are designed to get you playing and enjoying your guitar, while also covering your bases to make you a well-rounded guitar player--regardless of your current experience level or ultimate goals. We will start by learning the pieces and parts of your instrument, how to care for it and tune it, and progress into learning simple chords, and songs. The learning experience from this point will be tailored toward each learner's goals, but some of the items that can be covered include:
-Music theory basics applied to guitar
-Understanding the Nashville Numbering system and how to use it as a guitarist
-Advanced chords and strumming patterns
-Introduction to fingerstyle guitar
-Learning specific songs
