About Xinyi

Hi, I’m Ellen and I could be your potential Chinese teacher! Here are my reasons: I speak Mandarin because I am a native speaker, born and living in Beijing, China. More significantly, I have got the certification for teachers of Chinese, which means I have been given professional training and if you study with me you could get a better experience. Also, I was a graduate student at Hong Kong Baptist University, majored in Culture professional and Creative writing, so I am specialized in both literature and Cross culture area. Last but not least, as you can see, I can speak and understand English well, so even if you’re 100% beginner, we can have a great time working together! As in my class, I will always respect your personal needs, whether you want to work on Mandarin speaking or you want to pass an exam (for example HSK) I could re-design my sessions based on that. My class is both visualized and structured in a creative way, but also remains focused on your own study purpose.
