About Lani
I bring seven years of dedicated teaching experience, working with players across different skill levels, from absolute beginners to advanced club competitors. My teaching approach is patient, structured, and focused on building confidence as much as improving chess skills, making learning both comfortable and rewarding. Beyond tutoring, I actively study new chess theory, analyse grandmaster games, and participate in online tournaments to keep my own skills sharp. This ongoing practice ensures I bring fresh insights and modern understanding into every lesson, keeping content engaging and relevant for students. Most importantly, I value the human side of teaching. I understand every learner has different strengths, challenges, and motivations. By combining encouragement with structured improvement, I help students not only grow as chess players but also build patience, resilience, and critical thinking for life.
