About Ian

Hello. My name is Ian, and I am a chess player rated between 2000-2100 in rapid on lichess offering a one and great opportunity of learning chess.

I became the secondary chess champion at my high school for two years and served as one of the captains of the chess teams that won the majority of the premierships of the AIC chess season in my final high school year. And so, here is my platform of offering motivated and inspired people that have the opportunity to decide to get involved into the wonderful intricacies of the game.

I recommend contacting me for a trial. Anyway, I hope to have as much fun working with you to play the one and only great game, or sport.

About the lesson

From teaching the basics to honing your skills with knowledge of tactics, strategies and endgame techniques, my lesson structure roughly is as follows:

My first lesson includes a trial for the first 30 minutes, then I will introduce a sample of learning the skills that I strongly recommend to play better chess. Then there will be bundles of topics involving tactics, strategies and techniques that I have honed and will take the opportunity to teach you.

I will also test you on the skills I would have taught you by introducing various puzzles and studies that are also crucial to how many games are played to the greatest of many chess players' capabilities.
