About Ivy
I am a dedicated Chess tutor with 7 years of teaching experience, guiding students from school to college levels. Over this time, I have successfully taught 200–300 students, helping them improve their skills, confidence, and love for the game. My teaching philosophy focuses on combining strategy, tactics, and creativity, while making lessons engaging and easy to understand. I use real-life examples, case studies, and personalised guidance to help students grasp complex concepts quickly. I encourage critical thinking, patience, and sportsmanship, aiming to develop both skill and character. Seeing my students progress, achieve their goals, and enjoy Chess gives me great satisfaction.
