About Sienna

I am a dedicated Chess tutor with 7 years of teaching experience, guiding school and college students to think strategically and play with confidence. Over the years, I have successfully trained more than 200 to 300 students, helping them improve their skills, ratings, and overall understanding of the game.

My teaching philosophy is simple. Every student can become a strong player with the right guidance, practice, and mindset. I focus on building clear fundamentals such as opening principles, tactical awareness, positional understanding, and endgame technique. I also train students in calculation skills, time management, and tournament preparation.

I believe Chess is not just a game but a powerful tool to develop concentration, patience, logical thinking, and decision-making. My lessons are structured, interactive, and adapted to each student’s level and goals. I use puzzles, game analysis, practice matches, and feedback sessions to make learning effective and enjoyable.

Many of my students have shown strong improvement in competitions and school tournaments. Some have gained confidence to participate in higher-level events. Seeing my students grow both on and off the board is my greatest achievement. I am committed to helping every learner reach their full potential and enjoy the journey of mastering Chess.

About the lesson

My teaching approach to Chess is structured, strategic, and creative. I believe every student can become a strong thinker with the right guidance and mindset. I begin by assessing the student’s current level, strengths, and areas for improvement. Then I design a clear learning path with achievable goals.

I teach opening principles, middlegame planning, endgame techniques, tactical patterns, positional understanding, and calculation skills. Students learn how to analyze positions deeply and make smart decisions under pressure. I also include game analysis, puzzle solving, tournament preparation, and notation reading. We study famous classic games to understand strategy, creativity, and practical thinking.

Creativity is an important part of my lessons. I encourage students to explore ideas, try different plans, and develop their own playing style. Time management is trained through practice games with clocks and decision making exercises. I teach them how to stay calm and use time wisely during tournaments.

Positivity is always part of my coaching. Mistakes are treated as learning opportunities, not failures. I help students build confidence, focus, discipline, and strong mental resilience. My goal is not only to improve rating but to develop sharp thinking, patience, and strategic planning skills that help in chess and in life.
