About Ky Anh

Playing experience: I've been playing chess for nearly 11 years since I was 4 1/2 years old. I won gold medal in the U11 Vietnam Nationals and dozens of gold, silver and bronze medals. I peaked with an ACF quick rating of 2383 in March, 2024, ranking 25th in Australia. I was only 1270 rated in February 2024, and 1562 rated in June, I earned my FIDE master in February, 2025.

Coaching experience: I have 3 years of coaching experience. I have coached players ages ranging from 6 to over 50, and elo ranging from 100 to 2200 on chess.com. I specialize in helping intermediate and advanced players advance and increase their elo. My understanding of the game and my experience allow me to figure out and tailor each lesson to each player's strengths and weaknesses to help them improve.

About the lesson

My lessons can take place both online and offline.

- I can teach many skill levels: From completely new to chess to intermediate (~ 1900 FIDE rated)
- I prefer a lesson to be from 1 - 2 hours
- I will use the first lesson to evaluate your playing skill (strengths and weaknesses)
- I can teach anyone from the age of 5
