About Seren
My passion for Chess began through a fascination with strategy, analysis, and decision-making. This interest inspired me to complete a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Analysis, a Master of Science in Strategic Studies, and a PhD in Strategic Decision Sciences. Over the past 12 years, I have helped learners strengthen their skills through thoughtful and structured coaching.
I believe effective Chess instruction should teach students how to think rather than simply what moves to play. My teaching style emphasizes understanding, pattern recognition, and practical application. Through game analysis, tactical exercises, and personalized guidance, I help learners become more confident and capable players.
Outside teaching, I enjoy studying historical master games, analyzing modern tournaments, and researching cognitive performance. These interests allow me to bring fresh insights into lessons. Helping students discover the depth and beauty of Chess remains one of the most rewarding parts of my profession.

My Chess lessons are designed to help students become stronger thinkers while improving their understanding of the game. Learners study opening principles, tactical combinations, positional planning, endgame mastery, calculation methods, pattern recognition, time management, and game analysis through structured learning activities and practical exercises. I focus on helping students understand strategic concepts rather than relying solely on memorization. Every lesson encourages logical thinking and disciplined decision-making.
Lessons are tailored to each learner's current level and objectives. Beginners focus on fundamental rules, piece activity, tactical awareness, and checkmating patterns. Intermediate players strengthen positional understanding, planning skills, and calculation accuracy. Advanced learners explore deep strategic concepts, advanced endgames, tournament preparation, and analytical techniques. Guided practice and detailed game reviews help students improve consistently.
Chess is more than a game. It develops concentration, patience, and critical thinking skills that can benefit many areas of life. My goal is to help students become stronger players while building confidence in their ability to solve complex challenges. Every lesson supports intellectual growth and strategic development.
