My name is Sambarta Banerjee, and I'm delighted to introduce myself as a dedicated chess player, coach, and a National Instructor certified by FIDE. With a FIDE rating of 2067 and over a decade of experience, I've been immersed in the world of chess for more than 13 years. I've not only honed my skills as a player but have also ventured into coaching with 6 years of experience, guiding students to reach their full potential in this captivating game. As your chess coach, my approach is centered on fostering a deep understanding of chess strategy, tactics, and openings. Moreover, I hold the esteemed title of National Instructor from FIDE, which signifies my commitment to excellence in chess instruction. My achievements as a chess player include: - 5th place in the Asian Cities Chess Team Championship representing India. - 3rd place in the National Cities Team Chess Championship. - Proudly representing India in the World Youth Chess Championship 2019 in Mumbai, India. - Participating in the prestigious Catalan Chess Circuit 2023 in Spain. - Earning the title of Champion in the West Bengal State U-19 Chess Championship. - 3rd Place in the U-1900 category at the North American Open in Las Vegas, USA. I'm eager to share my passion for chess and my wealth of knowledge and experience with you. About the lesson

My approach to chess is very practical. I try to teach my students through solving exercise, studying classic games and playing practice games after every lessons. As I myself have worked with some highly regarded coaches I have engulfed their training methods and structured one of my own. We take a very personalized approach towards the game.
