Super Tutor

Flavia is one of our best Chess tutors. High-quality profile, qualifications verified, organised and responsive to lesson requests, and appreciated by their students.

About Flavia

My love for chess sparked at age 8, fueled by a competitive spirit. From surpassing friends to winning championships, I became a provincial and national youth champion for consecutive years. Notable achievements include a second-place finish in the Pan American U-20 Championship (2012) and 10th place in the World Youth Chess Championship (2011), earning the FIDE Master title at 15. With a peak FIDE rating of 2190, I now prioritize teaching to share my passion and knowledge.

Perfect! Wow. Flavia has an incredible understanding of chess and is able to help users with low skills levels (like me) to totally rethink the way chess is meant to be played, and quickly make tangible improvements. Highly recommend.

If I forgot all my chess, I’d hire Flavia again. Such an outstanding method to teach. It was so motivating and she’s simply on top of every little detail. I’m just very thankful, to be honest. Flavia is the best.
