About Koyejo
I completed CFA Level 1 in the top 10% of candidates globally, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with first-time passes in all modules. These exams were completed alongside my professional responsibilities, blending commercial application with classroom learning. This enables me to illustrate concepts using real-world scenarios. In my studies, I have adopted a range of learning styles, from using worked examples and interactive tools to reinforce my understanding, to using mnemonics and visual aids to aid memory. As a tutor, this has made me attuned to different learning styles, and I am able to adapt my approach to whatever method brings out the best in a student.

My teaching style is very flexible and tailored to the needs of the student. I start by understanding the student’s current level of understanding and what they are aiming to achieve, before creating a plan to bridge the gap as effectively as possible. Sessions will tend to be interactive and built around dialogue. The aim is to guide the students towards discovering the answer themselves, deepening their comprehension and building confidence. Experience as an accounting tutor for prospective investment bankers, supporting them in mastering the accounting and modelling fundamentals crucial for finance roles. Also previously served as a peer tutor, supporting KS3 - GCSE students with Mathematics. Several years of experience as a careers coach, covering CVs, cover letters, and interview prep. Candidates have secured positions in IB, consulting, and Big 4.
