To this end, we will cover three chapters. Chapter 1 will provide an overview of the challenges facing people, the organizations they work in and society in general. The aim is to provide the “WHY” to change navigation. Chapter 2 will outline the capabilities, the typical role players in change and the competencies these individuals need to ensure successful navigation. We conclude the Module (Chapter 3) with an overview of the change theories and models’ scholars and practitioners use in their endeavors to navigate change

A. Identify key challenges for individuals, organizations and society that makes change a necessity.
B. Describe why competence in navigating change is important.
C. Classify the role players in change in terms of the capabilities that need to be present to navigate change successfully.
D. Identify the core competencies that role players in change should have to navigate change successfully.
E. Categorize change theories/models in terms of their optimal utilization in navigating change.
