About Kelly
Chess is more than a sport, it is also an art. I believe in the teaching of chess centered on the insertion of the student in this surrounding atmosphere, rich in possibilities, that chess provides. My goal is to help everyone understand the fundamentals, tactics and strategies of chess. Going through the study of openings, half game and typical endings. But it is also helping each student to find their own style of play, being able to see each game. I usually say that everyone's game is a reflection of their personality and experiences. The pace of classes will depend on your goals, we can do everything from lighter and more fun approaches to more intensive approaches, for professional development.

I am 22 years old, I am finishing my law degree at PUC-SP, I have advanced English and intermediate Spanish. Most chess books are in English or Spanish, so I can teach the minimum of those two languages to be able to keep up with the books. At the time I started playing chess it was very difficult to find girls who knew how to play, so every school I went to, I needed to teach some girls to play to form a team. Besides always teaching friends. I am passionate about chess and this passion and affection is reflected when I teach. It is a perfect combination of intellectual development and fun.
