About Mounika
I have always wondered why our education system hasn't included mental health education as an important part of the curriculum. As adults, we struggle with numerous mental health issues because we were barely taught how to regulate our emotions or how to deal with them effectively. Our professional as well as personal life take a hit when we don't know how to handle the stress, triggers, and adverse life situations better.
My mission is to educate young minds on how to understand what’s going on in their emotional world, how to handle stress and life challenges better so that they can feel empowered when they become adults.

This 4-week program is designed to help children and teens understand their emotions, feel more connected to their bodies, and learn simple ways to regulate themselves when overwhelmed.
Through a gentle, interactive approach, participants are guided to:
1. Recognize and name their emotions
2. Build awareness of how emotions show up in the body
3. Develop simple tools to calm and ground themselves.
4. Feel safe expressing what they experience internally.
The sessions are not lecture-based. They include conversations, guided exercises, and age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, play, and self-awareness. This is a supportive learning space for your kids to befriend their emotional and internal world.
