About Vivien
Hello, I am Vivien, a native mandarin speaker and a professional certified Chinese teacher for speakers of other languages.
With a bachelor's degree in Chinese linguistic and literature, and a master's degree in Economic Journalism,I have nearly twenty years of experience in the media industry before I became a Chinese teacher.In my spare time, I enjoy sports, reading and traveling, and I believe in the beauty of diversity, that's why I am passionate about teaching and connecting with people from all over the world ,helping them explore China through language learning.

learning Chinese may seems daunting, but believe me, it's not as hard as you may have heard, it is all about how to learn it in proper way, and I am here to help you do just that! Usually I develop a personalized study plan tailored to your goals and current level of Chinese proficiency, from basic phonetics and grammar, to daily conversation and Chinese character. Additionally, I offer specialized tutoring in various professional fields such as general business ,international trade, mechanical ,or medical Chinese etc. I always send after class notes to my students for review and reinforce, it ensures making steady continuous progress. I also incorporate a small session named"speaking appropriately" into my one to one class to train and encourage my students to speak appropriately in real social scenarios.
