About Nadia F

Hello! I’m Nadia, a certified Indonesian tutor with nearly 7 years of teaching experience and a lifelong passion for languages. I speak 4 languages myself, so I truly understand what it feels like to learn from the beginning, the excitement, the confusion, and the little victories along the way.

Over the years, I’ve worked with students from different backgrounds, goals, and levels and many of them return for ongoing lessons. I believe that’s because I create a space where students feel safe to speak, make mistakes, and grow without pressure. My approach is both professional and personal: structured when needed, but always flexible to fit your pace and style.

For me, teaching is not just about delivering material, it’s about helping you connect with a language and culture in a way that’s meaningful and lasting. I care deeply about your progress, and I’m here to guide you with patience, encouragement, and clear direction.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to help you feel confident and comfortable using Indonesian in real-life situations, step by step, and always at your own pace.

We’ll begin with the basics and focus on survival conversations like introductions, numbers, asking for directions, and everyday expressions. As your skills grow, we’ll gradually move into grammar, structured dialogues, and even debate-style conversations to help you express and defend your thoughts in Indonesian, especially at the intermediate to advanced level.

Each lesson combines speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities, so you’ll build a strong foundation in all aspects of the language. I use a mix of custom materials and real-world resources to keep things dynamic, relevant, and tailored to your needs.

A learning material suited to your level will be provided after our first session.
And of course, the lesson plan can be adjusted to match your personal goals (travel, work, daily life, or academic purposes).

Most importantly, I aim to make our lessons encouraging, interactive, and enjoyable, so you not only improve your Indonesian but also enjoy the journey.

Since our main goal is to strengthen her casual, natural Indonesian, our sessions emphasize real-life conversational flow rather than textbook language. This makes our discussions dynamic, engaging, and highly practical.

Shanti is incredibly enjoyable to speak with and brings thoughtful insights into every topic we explore. Each class feels productive, insightful, and genuinely enriching. It has been a pleasure guiding her at this advanced level.

Archan's daughter is a wonderful and enthusiastic student. She came to class with some prior knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia, although she needed a bit of time to recall certain vocabulary and structures.

What I truly appreciate about her is how quickly she grasps new material, even in a trial class. She is attentive, responsive, and able to understand sentence structures and patterns quite fast. Even when she forgets something, she is eager to try again and stays engaged throughout the lesson.

With consistent practice, I believe she will continue to improve confidently and strengthen her foundation in Bahasa Indonesia. It has been a pleasure teaching her.
