About Nozipho
My name is Nozipho and I have over 10years experience in teaching mainly the foundation and intermediate phases, that would be from grade R to grade 6. I began my teaching career as an assistant teacher and soon rose to become a full-time grade R and 1 teacher consecutively. After attaining my diploma in business management, I was transferred to the intermediate phase where I became the English teacher for grade 4s to 6. I am currently studying for a bachelor's in English studies with Unisa and am a certified TEFL teacher after studying with TEFL Universal.

In my 11 years of teaching, I have noted that it is important to assess a student’s current level, strengths, weaknesses, learning style, interests, and motivation. This can help to set realistic and achievable goals, choose appropriate materials and methods, and monitor progress and feedback. I plan lessons according to the student’s goals and preferences using a variety of sources, such as textbooks, online resources, games and videos, to make the lessons engaging and relevant.
My approach is student-based and focuses on the student’s needs and interests. Students can also expect regular feedback and evaluation through the use formal and informal methods, such as tests, quizzes, assignments and observations, to measure their progress and achievement.
