About Calvin
I keep lessons a mix of fun and structure so learning feels enjoyable while still having clear goals. I’m a native English speaker from Durban and teach fully in English. I offer General English, Conversation, Business English and kids’ classes. Lessons usually start with relaxed speaking, then focus on your goals with plenty of practice and clear feedback. I work with all levels and ages.

I like to keep my lessons a good mix of fun and structure. I believe learning English should feel enjoyable, but I also keep things clear and focused so you always know what we’re working on and why.
I’m a native English speaker from Durban, South Africa, and I teach everything in English. Whether you’re a complete beginner, want to feel more confident in conversations, need Business English for work, or you’re looking for engaging lessons for your child, I adapt the classes to what you actually need.
In a typical lesson we’ll usually start with a bit of relaxed conversation, then move into the specific skills or topics you want to improve. You’ll get plenty of speaking practice, clear explanations, and honest feedback so you can see your progress.
My goal is simple — help you improve in a way that feels natural and keeps you motivated.
