About Philisiwe
Hello! I am a TEFL-certified English teacher who is passionate about helping students improve their English skills and gain confidence in communication.
I am a patient, friendly, and encouraging teacher who believes that learning should be enjoyable and supportive. My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident to participate, ask questions, and develop their English abilities.
I have a strong background in customer service and communication, which has helped me develop excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with people from different backgrounds.
I teach English speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and everyday communication skills. My lessons are suitable for young learners, teenagers, and students who want to improve their English in a fun and engaging way.

I am proficient in English and can teach English learners who want to improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. I can also support students who need help developing everyday communication skills and improving their confidence in using English.
A typical lesson with me includes a warm-up conversation, introduction of new vocabulary or concepts, guided practice, pronunciation correction, and activities that allow students to apply what they have learnt.
My lessons are suitable for young learners, teenagers, and beginner to intermediate English students who want to improve their language skills in a supportive and positive environment. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to meet each learner’s needs and goals.
